About CSI
The Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI), a voluntary, academic, nonprofit and non-governmental organization, a family of over 10,000 members, is registered and established in accordance with the laws of China. CSI has grown out of the Chinese Committee for Immunology, founded in 1984, and joined the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) as a member society in the same year. In 1988 CSI got its license and was affiliated with the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). In 1992, CSI became a founder member of the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania (FIMSA) and started to play an active role in the regional academic organization. Since 2016, the FIMSA office has been sharing with CSI office in Beijing, which is led by FIMSA Secretary General.

Cellular & Molecular Immunology is a monthly journal from the Chinese Society for Immunology and the University of Science and Technology of China. Covering both basic immunology research and clinical applications, CMI provides the latest information and advancements in our understanding of the immunological response of the host, both in vitro and in vivo.

Summary of the 2023 CSI Annual Meeting (the 15th CSI Congress of Immunology)
Organized by Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI), the 2023 CSI Annual Meeting (the 15th CSI Congress of Immunology) was held from November 2nd to November 5th in Suzhou, Jiangsu Provence. With the co-work of CSI members and meeting participants, the 2023 CSI Annual Meeting was a big success in the following aspects.29

Summary of Summer School 2023 of CSI
The 10th CSI Summer School was held on 7-16 July, 2023 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It was organized by CSI, co-hosted by Guangxi Medical University and Guangxi Society for Immunology. 90 PhD students recommended by CSI councilors and chairs of Professional Branch Committees attended the meeting. As tradition, the summer school is funded by CSI, including registration fees, meals and lodging during the meeting.07

Summary of the 4th CSI Advanced Course of Cancer Immunotherapy & the 17th Congress of Cancer Biotherapy
Organized by Committee for Tumor Immunology & Biotherapy of Chinese Society for Immunology (CSI) and hosted by Zhengzhou University, the 4th CSI Advanced Course of Cancer Immunotherapy & the 17th Congress of Cancer Biotherapy were successfully held during April 20-22 in Zhengzhou. 26 speakers were invited to give lectures and the meeting attracted more than 400 delegates.06

2023 CSI national meeting of secretary-generals held in Xiamen
The 2023 CSI national meeting of secretary-generals was held during 17-19 March in Xiamen. CSI President, Prof. Yuzhang Wu delivered a speech and emphasized that immunology is a science to serve people, to help them lead a better and healthier life, and the ultimate goal is to build a human community with a shared future. 39 secretary-generals from CSI committees, journals and provincial immunology societies gave 2022 annual reports. Experiences and difficulties of societies’ work were shared while suggestions and opinions were made for the year of 2023.As conclusion, CSI Vice President and Secretary General, Prof. Bo Huang said, we as an immunological big family should play an active role in the scientific communication by providing various platforms for immunologists. We also have huge responsibility to write better popular scientific articles and books to meet the needs of self-education, he added.30
